This morning is free to explore Chena Hot Springs or just simply relax in the resort. Visit the Ice Museum in the resort to view all the surreal life size sculptures made of ice, and do not forget to order an “Ice cube” Vodka to alleviate your mind (at your own expense). Feel free to relax the rest of the day. You may like to take a nap and get your gear ready for tonight while awaiting the unreal experience of another northern lights!
Chena Hot Springs – Fairbanks
After checking out, you will be transferred to the mesmerizing Fairbanks. You may take town shuttle to visit the interesting UAF Museum or arrange with the shuttle company to visit the joyful Santa Claus House. By the nighttime, an additional Aurora Trip is arranged to pick you up from your hotel and let you view the scenic phenomenon. Return to hotel around 1:00 am!
Fairbanks – Alaska Train – Anchorage
This morning, you will board Alaska Rail and depart at 8:45 AM heading south for Anchorage. Along the journey, you will pass through the nature filled Denali National Park and get to view the highest mountain in North America, Mt. McKinley. You will arrive in Anchorage around 8:00 PM. Hotel check in on your own.
