Upon your arrival at Yellowknife Airport, you will be taken by a private transfer to your Hotel for check-in. Enjoy your evening and prepare for your early departure the next day.
In the morning, you will be greeted by your transfer to the ski base, where you will take a thirty-minute plane ski plane ride to The Blachford Lake Lodge & Wilderness Resort. Feel free to explore the resort, and visit the lodge’s facilities such as hot tubs and sauna as you please. Later on after dinner, relax and enjoy the Aurora Borealis.
You may elect to watch the Northern Lights from the warmth of your lodge rooms, as all rooms features large panel glass that are ideal for viewing. You may also head outside, and watch the Aurora from the hot tub, Aurora decks, trails, or simply step outside your Cabin or lodge.
After a well deserved rest, enjoy breakfast in the dinning room before heading out to experience the area or facility of the Resort. For the adventurist ones, head outside for some fat biking along the trails, or play some childhood pond hocky on the frozen lake; experience the First People’s way of life with igloos or ice fishing. Or spending time enjoying the facility’s different amenities such as Cedar Wood Sauna and Hot Tubs among others.
After Dinner, make plans for an other round of Northern Light delight before turning in the night.
Enjoy your breakfast and take one more glance of this pristine wilderness before your 11:15am flight to take you back to Yellowknife. Enjoy the rest of your day and free day in Yellowknife.
