Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers. Resurrection Bay pops into view almost immediately after takeoff. Guests often see moose, Dall sheep, marine wildlife and black bears on this tour.

After about 15 minutes, guests will fly into Kenai Fjords National Park for a flight over Bear Glacier with its massive crevasses and iceberg filled lagoon. Next, guests will be landing on the shore where guests will get out of the helicopter and spend 35 minutes exploring with the pilot/guide.

This is the guest’s opportunity to explore a remote Alaskan beach and get a chance to hear and see the
actively calving glacier while interacting with the icebergs near shore. Afterwards, guests will again board the helicopter for the flight back to the base.

The return trip is usually flown low enough to watch for marine wildlife feeding on the abundant resources available throughout Resurrection Bay.
