Whistler Snowshe Adventure

The Experience

Our snowshoe tours range from serene walks through old growth forests to vigorous treks on our trails in the Whistler Backcountry. Why not pair your snowshoe experience with a magical night walk through the forest on Vallea Lumina. You don’t need to be a skier to enjoy all our mountains have to offer!

This 2.5+ hour journey begins with a 30-minute ride in a custom 4×4 into Whistler’s snowy backcountry. From the trailhead, strap on your snowshoes and follow your expert guide through pristine snowy forests and hidden mountain trails. Along the way, you’ll learn about local flora & fauna, take in frozen waterfalls, stunning vistas and a satisfying snack break along the way.

Duration:

2.5+ hours **All guests must be comfortable & physically capable of hiking for 2 hours in the snow

Requirements:

Age: 8+ years old or older
Chaperone: Ages 8-15 must have a 19+ parent or guardian participating in activity (paid)
16+ years or older may participate without a chaperone

What to Expect

Your tour begins at The Adventure Group’s Basecamp where you will meet your guides, gear up and go through our safety demonstration.

Then, it’s off up the mountain in one of our 4x4s for a 15 minute drive to the top of the first zipline where the real adventure begins.

Fire pits are set up at several of the stations to stay warm between ziplines. Each station is connected with short trails and scenic boardwalks where you can take in the views.

If the views don’t take your breath away, the thrill of flying definitely will!
