Transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver Station on your own. At 6:30 am, board the Rocky Mountaineer (Rocky Mountaineer Daylight Train “RedLeaf” Service) starting the two days train trip. Pass through the fertile fields of the Fraser Valley and view the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before entering the Fraser Canyon. You will see the thundering waters of Hell’s Gate. Savor a selection of exceptional chilled breakfasts and lunches served at your seat, and a glass of complimentary wine for lunch. Afternoon, follow the Thompson River to historic Kamloops. Continue east the vast ranchlands along the South Thompson River, pass Craigellachie, where the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was done, and enter Rogers Pass, with its tunnels, snowsheds and glistening glaciers. Climb through the Spiral Tunnels and over the Continental Divide to Banff National Park. End your rail journey in Banff. (Overnight in Banff)
Today you will enjoy an icefield tour. Travel along the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield. Take the Snow coach tour to the Athabasca Glacier. Afternoon, travel south back to Banff National Park, and a brief stop will be made at Lake Louise. (Overnight in Banff)
Today you will enjoy awesome scenery in Lake Louise. Travel through the magnificent castle-like mountains before arriving at Moraine Lake, which is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Rocky Mountains. Continue to Louise Lake and prepare to take the unique landscape in the world. (Overnight in Banff)
A free day to explore on your own. You may tour Banff and ride the Sulphur Mountain Gondola overlooking Banff. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Calgary (around 2 hours) and end this memorable trip.
