Upon arrival at the Toronto Airport, take the Airport Express bus to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this metropolis, such as CN Tower, University City, City Hall and lively theatre scenes. (Overnight in Toronto)
Transfer to the rail station and onboard the VIA train to Ottawa. Upon arrival, spend your free time to visit this bilingual city, which owns a rich historical and cultural heritage. Ottawa is Canada’s capital full of elegant neighbourhoods and superb museums. Highlights are the Parliament Buildings, Chateau Laurier, Supreme Court, The National Arts Museum, National Arts Centre, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Rideau Falls and Canal.
Transfer to the rail station and onboard VIA train to Quebec. Along the St. Lawrence River to Quebec, stroll the streets and alleys of North America’s only walled city. Enjoy the city which is filled with European-inspired architecture, historical landmarks, and breathtaking landscapes, such as Chateau Frontenac. Walk in the Plains of Abraham or sit outside having a cup of aromatic coffee at leisure.
A free full day to explore on your own. Optional activity includes one day trip of Saguenay Fjord and Whale Watching Tour. Along the St. Lawrence River into the Charlevoix, tour guides will introduce you the history of this piece of uncultivated land. In the entrance of Saguenay Fjord, you will board the 25-foot boat visiting Saguenay Fjord and watch wild whales.
Depart for Montreal, the largest French-speaking city in North America. Take your time to explore this ancient city. You may join the Lawrence Rive boat trip, or come to enjoy the famous underground shopping mall.
Spend the day sightseeing on your own in Montreal before ending the rail journey. You may explore Old Montreal & Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, Mount Royal, Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Bonsecours Market, and Place Jacques-Cartier, underground city. Your trip conclude at Montreal.
